Get Involved
Friends of the Arts is supported by the good will of our community. Our goal is to improve the quality of our schools, our community, and our lives through art.
We do this by:
- fostering partnerships for cultural resources;
- creating programs that reach out to the schools;
- making it affordable for students and families to attend cultural events;
- hosting cultural events for the community.
Children who participate in Art Education Programs:
- Have higher academic achievements;
- Read for pleasure nearly twice as often;
- Have stronger problem solving and critical thinking skills;
- Perform community service more than four times as often.;
- Are shown ways to express themselves in a positive manner;
- Are given reasons to love their community and their culture.
There are several ways for you to get involved either by making a monetary donation or by volunteering your time.
