VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

The mission of the Friends of the Arts is to present quality visual and performing arts that are affordable and accessible to children and adults as both observers and participants. Friends of the Arts is dedicated to arts education, enrichment and improving the patronage and support of New Hampshire artists. Annually, Friends of the Arts Programs reach over 11,000 people in 32 communities in Central New Hampshire.

Friends of the Arts accomplishes its’ mission through the following programs:

  • Art Encounters Education Program
  • Bus-In Program
  • In School Artist-In-Residence Program
  • Juried High School Art Exhibit
  • Summer Theatre Camps
  • Wildlife Art Contest
  • Museum Studies
  • Teacher Resources
  • Master Classes
  • Meet the Artist
  • Lectures
  • New Hampshire Artist Opportunities
  • Silver Series

Friends of the Arts is able to financially support these programs through our fundraising efforts and membership drive. We are able to implement these programs with our wonderful and dedicated VOLUNTEERS. We are always looking for new volunteers to carry out our mission! We have many different volunteer opportunities for you to choose from. Friends of the Arts volunteers:

  • Spread the word that the arts are important to our children and our region
  • Enjoy performances and presentations
  • Help with fundraising efforts
  • Learn about the arts
  • Meet other volunteers in the community
  • Enjoys volunteer benefits
