Art Cellar Event Space - Th e A.C.E.S.

What started as an idea in late 2008, has blossomed into a top-notch arts partnership, complete with a 1,100 + square foot event space, that can be used for private functions, arts openings, performances, readings, workshops and so much more. Open to the public and playing host to the ‘Partners’ programs, The ACES is a multi-faceted event space, which will also include an in-house catering option for all applicable functions.

The Art Cellar partnership consists of Artistic Roots Art Gallery, Frame of Mind Art Studio, Friends of the Arts Regional Arts Council, Lucky Dog Catering and Cheryl Johnson’s Studio & Gallery. Two of our most dynamic programs “Alternative Art Methods” and “Introduction to Art”, will begin with an introductory tour of the Artistic Roots Gallery. Private functions and special events can enjoy all the amenities of a fully catered event, with the added bonus of being surrounded by the best artwork in central and northern, NH.

The ‘Partners’ would like to send out a huge Thank You to Chuck Buhrman and his partners, Patty and Sheridan Buhrman of the Lucky Dog Tavern and Grill in Plymouth and his wonderful hard working crew for doing such a remarkable remodeling job, transforming a former bar and restaurant into an amazing area for the arts and the community as a whole. Chuck Buhrman and his partners invested their own time and money in creating this amazing new addition to Main Street.

The ‘Partners’ would again like to send a huge Thank You to all those involved. A special thanks also goes out to Cindy Dussault, the Lucky Dog’s accountant, who gave Chuck, Patty and Sheridan the idea of building an artist coop center.
